Description

Helena Marino has lost her freedom and her powers. She has also lost months of her memory. She was once an alchemist, one who works with alchemy. Now, after a long war, she is a captive. Guild families and necromancers, who use death magic, rule Paladia. Her allies in the Resistance are dead. Their records list her as a minor healer. Her captors think her lost memories may hold key secrets.

They send her to the High Reeve, a strong necromancer. His estate is in decay. There, she fights to keep her sense of self. She must find what her captor and his home hide.
