Alice în Țara Minunilor

Alice finds herself in a world where size can change. She may grow taller than a house or shrink below a cat’s size. She can speak with birds and animals, and she enters a courtroom. Across twelve chapters, her strange trips take her underground, through water, and into the air.

This fantasy for children follows Alice through places where familiar rules no longer hold. Lewis Carroll’s real name was Charles Dodgson. He taught maths and made up stories. Monica Manolachi’s account links this tale to a boat trip with three sisters. They asked him for a story, and one of them was named Alice.
