Avocatul rebel

Sebastian Rudd defends people whom other lawyers refuse to help. His clients include a young drug user in a satanic cult. He also represents a mobster facing execution. Another client fired at a SWAT team after officers entered the wrong home. Rudd believes each deserves a fair trial. He uses tricks that test the law’s limits to win their cases.

Avocatul rebel is a legal thriller by John Grisham. It suits readers drawn to court cases and flawed champions of justice. Through Rudd, Grisham takes a critical look at the legal system.

Rudd works without a firm or legal partners. His office is a van with leather seats, a fridge and a bar. His sole helper is a heavily armed driver. The driver also guards him, hears his secrets and plays golf with him.
