Balada celor cinci motanasi

Cats dream of moving to the upper part of town. Its small market offers food they can steal. In the large orchards, they can hunt old, short-sighted sparrows. Shaded roofs offer a place to find company and share troubles.

Ion Druta’s story suits young readers and features art by Mihaela Paraschivu. It belongs to the Cartier codobelc series. The book was among 26 titles chosen as Romania’s most beautiful books of 2015. That selection was due to appear at major world book fairs. AFCN helped fund the book, which was printed in Chisinau.
