Description
This book brings children folk tales and other Romanian stories. Some tales have no known author. People passed them down over time. Others come from Romanian writers. Old tales about Pacala bring laughs. More recent tales tell of adventures.
Petre Ispirescu and Ion Creanga each have work here. So does Mihai Eminescu. The book also has work by Mircea Santimbreanu. Vladimir Colin and Octav Pancu-Iasi have work here too.
Children can get to know Romanian writing through these tales. Some are classics, while others are newer. This edition has a hard cover. Romanian artists of today made its pictures.
