Description
This book brings together folk tales about birds. Simion Florea Marian wrote the tales. They tell of the lark, stork and cuckoo. They also tell of the swan, eagle and dove, among other birds. The tales explore bird myths passed down through folk lore. They mix wit and warmth with a poet's view of nature.
The book suits those who like folk lore and bird myths. Iordan Datcu, who studies folk lore, chose and edited the texts for this book.
