Breakfast of Champions Vonnegut Kurt

Kurt Vonnegut sets Breakfast of Champions in a made-up town, Midland City. The book follows two lonely men as they grow old. It looks at what it means to be human. The novel uses absurd humor to mock American society.

This satire blends science fiction with memoir and farce. It draws on parables, or tales that teach, and fairy tales. It uses cartoons as one way to tell its story. Vintage Classics brings out this book in paperback.
