Description

Jorge Luis Borges tells short tales that seem simple at first. Yet they explore a world he saw as complex. He says he chose plain words for their style. They do not mean he saw the world as simple. He saw all things as complex. He sought to give that a clear form in fiction.

Borges thought this was his best book of short stories. This edition forms part of the Top 10+ series. Cristina Haulica and Andrei Ionescu translated the tales.
