Codul lui Da Vinci

A call late at night draws Robert Langdon into a murder case. He is an American professor who studies symbols. He also studies the history of art. The call comes during his trip to Paris for a conference. Someone has killed the Louvre’s curator, an old man. He died inside the museum and left a strange message.

Langdon teams up with Sophie, an expert in codes. They work to solve the clues. Some lie hidden in paintings by Leonardo. Other clues lead the pair to other places. They search Paris, then London, and then Scotland. They seek a secret that people have guarded for centuries. It could call Christian beliefs into doubt.

Dan Brown’s mystery thriller blends art, codes, and secrets of faith. It suits readers who like puzzles and a fast-paced plot. Columbia Pictures made the novel into a film in 2006.
