People around Sam start to die. She faces a new witch hunt and must stop it.

Adriana Mather wrote this novel for young adults. It blends suspense about ghosts and curses with school strife. It also has adventure and humor. Figures from Salem’s past join a tale of friendship and love. The book links the witch trials to bullying today. Sam’s stubborn streak and sharp tongue help drive the plot. So do her rash choices. Mather says she gave Sam some of her own grit and humor. This is a translation of How to Hang a Witch. It forms part of the Youngart series.
