This book looks at Jewish gangs and organized crime in America. It covers the early years of the twentieth century. It also looks at Italian and Irish crime groups. Mexican and German crime groups form part of the account too.

This history follows Jewish migrants to the United States. They came from Eastern Europe’s Pale of Settlement. It links their poverty in a new land to crime. It also links that poverty to the rise of Jewish gangs. The book presents this past as one people often avoid.
