Fetița care făcea un milion de greșeli

Millie dreams of being a top athlete. But whatever she tries, things go wrong. In a race she makes one mistake after another. She feels cross and starts to lose heart. At one point she even lands in a tree! Will she give up? Or will she become the great athlete she hopes to be?

This is a picture book for children about growing up and believing in yourself. Millie gets there in the end. She learns as she goes, finds clever ways to solve problems and does not quit. The story aims to help children bounce back from setbacks. It also prepares them for the hard parts of life.

The book includes short, upbeat lines that build self-esteem. Children can say them to themselves: "I can do this. I am strong. I am unstoppable." The story has won an award.

Brenda Li wrote the book and drew its colour pictures. This Romanian edition was translated from English by Maria Tănăsescu. It is part of the ZYX Kids series.
