Gustul teatrului

Carmen Mihalache wrote Gustul teatrului. The book offers her views on works of theatre. It forms part of the Hamletarium series. It is for readers drawn to theatre and critical writing.

Mihalache pairs close judgment with a strong response to art. She seeks to know the people behind each work. This means both its makers and the characters they create. Years of study in culture shape her views.

She works as a theatre critic. She also takes part in Bacău’s cultural life. Since 2002, she has led the journal Ateneu as editor-in-chief.
