Haos in scoala

Zora and her class lose their school when it shuts overnight. They must move to a new, modern building. It feels strange and cold. They miss their old school and fear what comes next. They refuse to accept the move and plan to reclaim it. Wild plans lead to clashes between classes and funny mishaps. The problems they share help them grow close.

This novel for children by Usch Luhn shows how young people face change. It deals with loss, trust, courage, and strength through shared work. The children form new friendships as they defend a place they love. The tale blends school humour with their struggle to adapt.

Luhn grew up in a small village in Austria. As a child, she spent her afternoons in the woods. She now lives in Berlin and by the North Sea. This edition has black-and-white art by Frau Annika. Teodora Tanase translated the text from German.
