Mongolia lui Ginghis Han

This book looks at Mongolia and its way of life. It also looks at customs kept for a long time. Bor Sugarjav and Ion-Mihail Iosif write with warmth. Both take a close, personal interest in their subject. At times, their prose has the feel of verse.

This is nonfiction, but not a strict work of research. It gives the authors’ own view. They focus on the parts of Mongolian life they value. They show less known sides of the land of Genghis Khan. The land is vast, yet few people live there.
