Nepotul magicianului

Digory Kirke and Polly Plummer have only just met. Uncle Andrew forces them to take part in a magic test. Magic rings take them to strange worlds. The children had not known these worlds were real. There they face evil powers that seek control. As hope fades, the lion Aslan sings a new world into being. This is Narnia, where magic makes the impossible real. Here, love and kindness bring rewards.

C. S. Lewis wrote this fantasy adventure for children and teens. It starts the series Cronicile din Narnia. This edition has colour art by Pauline Baynes. Irina Oprea and Radu Paraschivescu translated it. They worked from the English text into Romanian.
