Nesupusele

Nesupusele tells of women from Romania whose lives stand out. This book for children looks at women as role models. It asks what we value and how we choose to live. How can we stay true to ourselves when others push us? How can we keep our self-respect when life is hard? The tales stress the courage to speak and the need to listen. They link a full life to care, hope, love, and action.

This book starts a project on 100 women. It spans 100 years of modern Romania. All five authors are part of the De Basm group. They are Adina Rosetti, Cristina Andone, and Iulia Iordan. Laura Grunberg and Victoria Patrascu also wrote the book.
