Objective Proficiency Student's Book without Answers with Downloadable Software

This book helps learners prepare for an English exam. It covers the revised 2013 Cambridge English: Proficiency exam. Its other name is the Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE). Learners build exam skills and advanced English across varied topics. Tasks and examples target areas that Proficiency students often find hard.

Annette Capel and Wendy Sharp wrote this course book. This is the second edition. Each unit has three lessons of two pages each. This layout helps learners keep a steady pace. It also lets them adapt their study. This version has no answers.

The book gives a web address to download practice software. The software lets learners take an active part in tasks. These cover exam skills, grammar and vocabulary. Mac users must first install Adobe Air and Java. This version does not include audio for the listening tasks. Users can get the audio on its own. It also comes in a Student's Book Pack. A version with answers is also on offer.
