Poezii

This book holds poems by Jorge Luis Borges. Myths from the East and Norse myths shaped his work. He used short, clear forms to explore time without end and space without bounds. The book is for readers of his verse.

This edition has changes and new content. It forms part of a series on Borges. Andrei Ionescu put the poems into their new language from Spanish. He also wrote the preface. Tudor Pătraşcu made the art for the book. Ionescu sees verse at the heart of all Borges’s work. He notes that Borges began and ended his writing life with verse.
