Povestile de aur ale copilariei

This book brings fairy tales and fables to children. Some tales come from the Brothers Grimm. Others come from Hans Christian Andersen, Charles Perrault and Carlo Collodi. The book has Aesop’s fables too. Other tales draw on English, Russian and Eastern lore.

In these tales, princesses need help, and knights are brave. Crafty beasts share their worlds with beings that use magic. Kind fairies and evil witches play a part too. The tales tell of far-off lands ruled by kings. They tell of close friends too. The book is for young readers, but adults can enjoy it too.
