Рассказы. Чехов

This book collects short stories by Anton Chekhov. It belongs to the children's section of the catalogue. It comes out in the series Чтение — лучшее учение ("Reading Is the Best Learning").

Chekhov counts among the great names of world writing. He did not show life from one side only. His stories show its many sides and its drama. They also show that what has happened cannot be undone.

Chekhov leaves a lot for the reader to work out. The reader takes part almost as a co-author. Each person makes sense of the story, and the life inside it, on their own.
