Description
Babușca paints Easter eggs and lives in a lone house. One winter day, a hurt wild goose falls into her yard. She cares for the bird, Recenka, and they become friends. Their bond leads to a small Easter miracle.
Patricia Polacco wrote this story with art for children. It draws on Russian customs. It looks at care and the joy friends share. It also shows small clashes between friends. The art brings old Moscow to mind. It shows bright Russian Easter egg designs. This edition is in Romanian.
