Saving 6

Joey Lynch is twelve when his older brother Darren leaves town. As the second son of parents whose marriage has broken down, Joey takes on care of his mother and younger siblings. Through his teens, he struggles with anger, self-hatred and the risk of addiction. His sense of duty leaves little room for his own needs.

Aoife Molloy meets Joey on her first day of secondary school. Outgoing and sure of herself, she wants to know more about him. He is both her classmate and her father's apprentice. Their friendship grows more complex as Aoife tries to learn his secrets. Joey fights to keep her at a distance.

Saving 6 is a romance for readers drawn to first love and troubled family lives. Chloe Walsh brings Joey's burdens and Aoife's growing interest into the same story. It is the third book in The Boys of Tommen series.
