Description
Heinrich Harrer tells of his seven years in Tibet. He writes of life at the Dalai Lama’s court. Harrer was a climber, traveller, and writer from Austria. This memoir is for those keen to read about his time there.
The book first came out in German in 1952. This 2018 paperback has the full text in Russian, drawn from the German text. It keeps Harrer’s tone and the way he shaped the book. It also has photos from the trip, never published before.
