Sfârșitul eternității

Andrew Harlan moves through time to change events for humankind’s good. He works for Eternity, a group outside space and time. Its members change reality to help keep people well. Their work has risks: a traveller might meet his own self.

Harlan starts to doubt that Eternity helps those it controls. Then he falls in love with a woman outside the group. He seeks to bend time to keep their love alive. His own aims now put Eternity’s future at risk.

Isaac Asimov’s science fiction novel joins time travel with suspense. It shows how changes to the past shape human life. It asks if safety can hold back human growth. Danger and hard times may lead people to new gains.

This book forms part of a series of Asimov’s works. Iulia Anania translated the text from English.
