Соблазненная архитектура

This book tracks changes in building design since the 1970s. Architects moved past plain forms and right angles. They tried new uses for structure, shape, and materials. Their buildings drew crowds. Cities vied to catch the public eye. The essays ask how the quest for fame shaped building design.

Алексей Лепорк guides readers through this varied world. He is an art historian and a critic of architecture. He works as a researcher at the State Hermitage Museum. He writes for those with an interest in modern buildings. His essays raise questions, not simple answers. This edition is a paperback.
