Сын человеческий

This book collects short stories by Leonid Andreev. He wrote them in different years. They include «Сын человеческий», «Кусака» and «Петька на даче». It also has two plays. These are «Мысль» and «Жизнь Человека».

The book suits readers of Russian fiction and drama. The works date from the early twentieth century. The stories span several styles. These include naturalism, psychological realism and modernism. They show shifts in Andreev’s faith. He moved between doubt in God and deep faith. His views on revolutionary ideas changed too. He went from support to hatred. This paperback brings these sides of his work together.
