Textul argumentativ - Aplicații pentru Bacalaureat

This book teaches students to plan and write texts that argue a point. It is a study guide for twelfth-grade students taking the Bacalaureat. Maria Boghici, Corina Chelbuta-Ban and Alina Hristea wrote it. They teach the theory and show how to use it. They give tasks to help students build their writing skills. These tasks help students think things through and find fresh ideas. They also help them map out their thoughts.

The guide explains key ideas and gives words that link thoughts. Its source texts use a range of styles. They cover topics of interest to students. Twenty practice tests help students prepare for the written exam’s first section. Each test gives tasks based on a news or press text. Each also has a model essay that argues a point. A prompt gives students a topic to write about.

Forty sets of tasks help students prepare for the oral exam. They cover the text styles taught in the school course. They give practice tasks and help students form answers. This help comes as questions, simple outlines or plans with gaps. These plans give a claim, a conclusion or one supporting point.

Four tests give two checks each for the oral and written exams. Three self-checks help students judge their work and track their progress.
