Description
Leon Leyson recounts how he survived Nazi rule as a child. He was ten when the Nazis invaded Poland. They forced his family into a ghetto in Krakow. He describes the cruelty he faced and his struggle to survive.
This memoir tells the story from a child survivor’s view. Oskar Schindler helped save Leyson and some of his relatives. He placed their names on his factory’s list of Jewish workers. Leyson’s account shows the role of chance, courage, and Schindler’s help in his survival.
