Волшебник Изумрудного города

Elly is a girl who lives on the dusty plains of Kansas. She has no idea that a magic land exists somewhere in the world. In that land, beasts and birds can talk. So can a man made of straw and a man made of iron.

One day a storm carries her little house far from home. To get back, Elly must travel to the Emerald City. She does not go alone. Her loyal dog Totoshka comes with her. So do the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman and the Cowardly Lion.

The friends meet many strange adventures on the road. Only true friendship, loyalty and help for one another let them get past each obstacle. Their goal is to find Goodwin, a wizard who grants heartfelt wishes.

This is a fairy tale for children by Alexander Volkov, written in Russian.
