Description

Zenobia brings love and surrealism together in a novel by Gellu Naum. It also offers a view of Naum himself, a poet of the Romanian avant-garde. Naum frames the work as a love poem rather than just a novel.

The book draws on surrealism’s aims, refusals, and quirks, though not its use of automatic writing. It places Naum’s work as a poet at the heart of its approach.
