On the Arctic island of Whitskersey, the harsh winter cold and seemingly endless polar night wreak havoc on Vincent's health. With no more ferries running for the year, there's no escaping the eerie voices and feverish paranoia. As things take a turn from bad to worse, is Vincent just delusional, or is there really someone out to get him? Can his trusty feline companion save the day by peeing on his biscuits? Venture to the cat-shaped continent of Furuyan in this Nordic-infused gaslamp fantasy adventure to find out what Vincent needs to do to sleep at night. This creepy cosy first installment of The Catnap Ramblers trilogy is described as similar in style to Terry Pratchett's novels. It has been recommended to readers who've enjoyed Morgan Stang's The Bookshop and the Barbarian, Rebecca Thorne's Can't Spell Treason without Tea, and Delemhach's The House Witch.
