Imperiul 3: Curenții spațiului PB

On Florina, spring never ends, but its workers have few rights. They make kyrt, a prized material. It makes the lords who rule Sark rich. The workers have lost the will to seek freedom. If they stopped work, worlds across the Trantorian Empire would grow angry.

Rik lives among these workers, with no memory of his past. When first found, he could barely speak. He was in poor shape, too. As his past comes back to him, a strange warning emerges. Currents in space threaten to destroy Florina. His lost past thus holds clues to the planet’s fate.

Isaac Asimov wrote this science fiction novel. It links lost memory with power and forced labour. It also deals with threats on a vast scale. It is the third book in the Imperiul series. Asimov won the SFWA Grand Master honour in 1987. Nicu Gecse translated this edition. It forms part of the SCI-FI Masters collection.
