Înconjurat de psihopați

Thomas Erikson looks at how people charm others to gain control. They also use words to sway them. He shows how they use people's traits and weak spots. The book gives ways to spot and resist these acts.

This self-help guide is for adults whom others seek to control. This may take place at home or at work. It shows signs to watch for in close ties. It also helps readers make sense of acts that harm them. Erikson shows how knowing yourself helps you spot others' control. He draws on four types from his earlier book, Înconjurat de idioți. These types are red, blue, green and yellow.

Erikson is Swedish and an expert in how people act. He gives talks and writes books that sell in large numbers. He has given talks and led group classes across Europe for 18 years. He has worked with firm leaders in Swedish and English. His clients have included IKEA, Coca-Cola and Microsoft. They have also included Volvo and KIA Motors.

This edition is part of the IQ230 series. Andreea Vrabie used the English text for her translation. Its English title is Surrounded by Psychopaths.
