Pippi Șosețica în parc

Pippi Șosețica loves to play with friends in her small town. She hears of trouble in the capital, Stockholm. She sets off to put things right. Her great strength and love of play shape the tale.

This picture book brings Astrid Lindgren’s Pippi to young children. It suits those who cannot yet read a novel alone. Lindgren made this set of picture books with Ingrid Vang Nyman. Vang Nyman drew the art. The set also includes O cunoști pe Pippi Șosețica? Readers first met Pippi in three novels. Lindgren began to write them in 1945.

Pippi’s tales mix make-believe and humour. They also question the rules that adults set. She questions what grown-ups say and do. Her sense of play lets children form their own views. For decades, readers from many cultures have read her tales.
