Viața dincolo de mormânt

Scarlat Demetrescu looks at how human life links to nature and God. He writes about faith and unseen powers. This is a work of spiritual nonfiction for readers drawn to these themes.

He depicts early life as hard but close to nature. Mountains, woods, dawn and stars led people to seek a creator. They prayed for insight, safety and pardon. He says unseen powers once helped guide their lives.

In his view, people learned more about matter. This weakened their bond with those powers. Town life, more wealth and greater comfort drew their minds away. They lost touch with forces he thinks rule the universe.
