Oliver Twist

A beloved story, beautifully republished in this special, Scholastic Classics edition of Oliver Twist. "Please, sir, I want some more." When Oliver runs away from a workhouse and is taken in by a group of pickpockets and thieves, he finds himself plunged into a dark criminal underworld. Fagin, the Artful Dodger, the menacing Bill Sikes and kind-hearted Nancy all play their parts as Oliver struggles to survive and find his real family. A rich and unrivalled look at London poverty from arguably the greatest novelist of the Victorian era, Charles Dickens.
