Description
This book by Vladimir Megre is part two of book eight in his series The Ringing Cedars of Russia. It goes on with the story of Anastasia. She is a young woman who lives alone in the Siberian taiga. She comes from a very old family line. The book says she holds the gifts of her forebears. It also says she knows the first truths about how Earth and people were made.
The series began when the author met her on an empty bank of the Ob River in Siberia. He was a modern businessman at the time. At first he mocked her way of life, her ideas and her forecasts. Later he left business and wrote them down in a book called Anastasia. The series has since been translated into 20 languages.
This volume sets two ways of family life side by side. One is how people today view sex, family, birth and raising children. The other is the life of our ancestors, which the book sees as more spiritual. In that older life, love shaped conception, pregnancy, home birth and child rearing.
The author asks when and how this ancestral wisdom was lost. He presents old customs built on love and non-violence. He claims people can still learn and use them today.
The story follows one couple in love through their wedding rite. Through it, the book traces an ancient Russian Vedic civilization. It shows the rise of that culture and the drama of its fall. It ends with its rebirth thousands of years later, in our own time.
